The adapter has frequently been out of stock at retailers since its August launch, and PlayStation's holiday deal on the PSVR 2--$349 for the Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle--certainly hasn't made it any easier to snag the accessory. With the adapter and the PSVR 2, you can access the SteamVR library on your PC. PSVR 2 Adapter Restock Tracker: You'll need a bit more than the $60 adapter to connect your PSVR 2 to PC. A DisplayPort 1.4 cable and a Steam account are required. If you need a cable, you can pick up a braided 10-foot JSAUX DisplayPort cable for only $11. You'll also need a gaming PC that hits the following minimum specifications: Getting the headset working with your PC requires is pretty straightforward, as you'll just need to connect the headset to your PC using the PSVR 2 PC Adapter, then download the PSVR 2 and SteamVR apps. You'll miss out on some functionality (such as eye tracking and adaptive triggers), but 4K visuals, 3D audio, and plenty of other features are still supported on PC.
